Here's a list of things we should set out to do once we start playing TOR:
1) Everyone should level up as fast as you can (while still taking time to enjoy your class story) to Level 10, or just complete your starting planet, so that you may acquire your ship.
*ACQUIRE STARSHIP ASAP*
2) Figure out what crew skills you want to have. We need to cover all crew skills within the guild so that we can be a productive and supportive guild for our members and all of the other Republic players on our server. There are certain skills that each class would be most suited for; as far as I can tell at this point, this is what they are (this may change or turn out to not be 100% true in-game):
Trooper:
---Gathering Skills---
**In order of most-relative to class.(most relative to least relative)**
Scavenging, Slicing, Bioanalysis
---Crafting Skills---
**In order of most-relative to class.**
Armstech/Armormech, Cybertech, Biochem
---Mission Skills---
**In order of most-relative to class.**
Investigation, Treasure Hunting, Diplomacy, Underworld Trading
Smuggler:

*If a skill is not listed with a class, it probably isn't best-suited for that class.*
3) Hold on to any schematics or crafting-related materials you find. Keep an eye out for anything considered rare, of high value, or things that can modify stats. There are some items (specifically crafting items) that have been set to spawn very few times on certain servers; if we can acquire even one of those items, it would greatly aid our guild in its success and control on our server.
4) Save your credits for the first month of gameplay. Try not to spend any credits in the market if you do not have to. There will be much better stuff to buy at higher levels and we need to save up for our guild for a while so that we can fund anything we want for it (i.e. a guild capital ship if they are putting those in).
5) Focus on your class story as much as you can. I do not think we should engage in PvP as a guild until the majority of us have reached Level 20.
6) Become familiar with your class and its advanced classes. Know what you want to do in PvP and try to learn what is best for your class/AC (both spec-wise and item-wise) for PvP before making any permanent decisions.
7) If you are able to get to Datacrons on your current planet, try to get them. They give you a permanent boost to your stats and will help a little bit in combat. Anything that aids in combat is useful. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=300223#anchor33
8) Do not play more than 2 characters at a time. Try to stay focused on 1 or 2 characters.
9) Get to know some people from our allied guilds. Make friends, play together, help everyone out. The stronger the Republic is, the better we will do against the Sith.
10) Earn yourself some titles for your character by leveling up, exploring, completing quests, and playing PvP/PvE.
11) Try to always be productive for the guild. You need to either be gathering supplies for crafting or crafting at all times. Have your companions craft and do missions for you while you are leveling up.
12) Once you have reached Level 40, it would be acceptable for you to do some XP/Loot grinding in Space. Get some parts for your ship and upgrade it. They might add PvP for Space at a later time; it would be wise to be prepared for that. It also doesn't hurt to have an awesome ship.
